Tray Brown is a 6'1", 232-pound linebacker for Coastal Carolina out of Cardinal Gibbons High School in Margate, Florida. A three-star recruit in the Class of 2022, Brown redshirted his freshman year before appearing in 10 games as a redshirt freshman in 2023, recording 12 total tackles and an interception against Marshall. In 2024, he played all 13 games and posted 36 total tackles with 2.5 tackles for loss. During his 2025 redshirt junior campaign, Brown appeared in all 13 games with nine starts, finishing fourth on the team with 54 tackles while leading the team with 11.5 tackles for loss and adding 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.
