Jordan Thompson is a linebacker from Charlotte, NC who attended Julius Chambers High School before playing college football at Middle Tennessee and Western Carolina. At Middle Tennessee, Thompson appeared in 10 games with eight starts during his redshirt freshman season in 2024, recording 37 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and two pass breakups. He transferred to Western Carolina as a mid-year transfer and started all 12 games at linebacker in 2025, leading the Catamounts with 93 tackles while adding 7.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, and 10 quarterback hurries. Thompson earned Second Team All-Southern Conference honors and had a season-high 12 tackles against The Citadel. He now transfers to Coastal Carolina as a redshirt junior.
