Bio

Daniel Porto is a kicker from Recife, Brazil who moved to Central Florida at age 14 and transitioned to football after playing soccer growing up. He attended Horizon High School in Winter Garden, Florida, earning Army Bowl All-American honors. Porto played at Holy Cross as a freshman in 2023, appearing in all 11 games with 69 kickoffs for 3,804 yards. In 2024, he appeared in 12 games, converting 13-of-18 field goals and 36-of-39 PATs while setting a school record with a 53-yard field goal versus Lafayette. He earned Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week twice and went 6-for-6 in the championship game victory over Georgetown. At Florida A&M in 2025, Porto made 17-of-21 field goal attempts for an 81 percent success rate and scored 74 points, earning First Team All-SWAC honors. He now joins Coastal Carolina as a senior.
