Shavar Young Jr. is a cornerback from Knoxville, Tennessee, who attended Webb School of Knoxville. As a senior in 2025, he rushed 144 times for 1,087 yards and 12 touchdowns while catching 52 passes for 751 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded 51 tackles, two forced fumbles, and ranked third on the team in tackles. Over his final two seasons, Young compiled 3,600 all-purpose yards and earned TSSAA DII-AA Mr. Football finalist honors. He committed to Clemson on August 2, 2024, and enrolled in January 2026.
