Ronan Hanafin is a 6'3", 215-pound safety for Clemson who joined the program in 2023 as the Tigers' first Massachusetts signee since Christian Wilkins. Originally recruited as a wide receiver, Hanafin transitioned to defense in August 2024. In 2025, he recorded 72 tackles (third on the team), one tackle for loss, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one interception across 13 games with five starts. Over his three seasons, he has appeared in 38 games while logging 647 career snaps and earning three All-ACC Academic Team selections.
