Ian Reed is a 6'6", 305-pound left tackle for Clemson from Austin, Texas, where he attended Vandegrift High School. A four-star recruit ranked No. 286 nationally in the 2023 class, Reed earned second-team MaxPreps All-America honors after helping Vandegrift to a 14-2 record and a Texas 6A state championship appearance in 2022. He enrolled at Clemson in January 2023 and appeared in one game as a redshirt that year, recording 11 snaps in his collegiate debut versus Charleston Southern. After suffering a season-ending knee injury during 2024 fall camp, Reed returned in 2025, appearing in three games across 26 snaps, including nine at North Carolina, three at Boston College, and 14 versus Furman. Entering 2026 as a redshirt junior, he has played 37 offensive snaps over four career game appearances.
