Gavin Blanchard is a redshirt freshman right guard for Clemson who stands 6'2" and weighs 305 pounds. A native of Tampa, Florida, he attended Wiregrass Ranch High School, where he finished his prep career under coach Mark Kantor. Originally committed to UCF in June 2024, Blanchard flipped his commitment to Clemson on November 1, 2024, and enrolled in January 2025. During his high school career, he earned first-team All-Sunshine Athletic Conference honors and first-team selection by the Florida Athletic Coaches Association, and was credited with 30 pancake blocks and an 88 percent grade during his final season. In his Clemson debut in 2025, he appeared in one game versus Furman, recording 13 snaps while redshirting.
