Darien Mayo is a 6'7" right defensive end for Clemson who enrolled in summer 2024 after committing June 22, 2023. A four-star prospect from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Maryland, Mayo ranked among the nation's top 150 players and earned second-team All-America honors from MaxPreps as a senior, recording 78 total tackles, 25 for loss, and 13 sacks. He redshirted in 2024, appearing in three games with four tackles and 0.5 for loss. In 2025, Mayo saw action in seven games across 62 snaps, tallying two tackles including his season debut against Troy. He enters 2026 with six career tackles (0.5 for loss) in 95 snaps over 10 games.
