Christian Bentancur is a tight end from Lakemoor, Illinois who joined Clemson as a four-star recruit in the 2024 class. Standing 6'4" and weighing 250 pounds, he redshirted in 2024 after appearing in six games. In 2025, Bentancur caught 20 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns over 13 games with two starts, including a 45-yard scoring reception at North Carolina. He currently holds 21 career receptions for 222 yards and three touchdowns across 19 games played. A two-time ACC Honor Roll selection, Bentancur was also a standout multi-sport athlete in high school, becoming the first Illinois high school athlete to record 200 football receptions and 2,000 basketball points.
