Chase Byrd is a wide receiver from Greenville, South Carolina, who walked on at Clemson in 2024 after attending Greer High School. As a senior, he recorded 43 receptions for 683 yards and 11 touchdowns while earning all-state honors for Class 4A. In his first season with the Tigers, Byrd played two offensive snaps over two games while redshirting. During the 2025 campaign, he appeared in four games, recording two receptions for 17 yards and a 10-yard punt return across 26 offensive snaps.
