JC French IV is a 6'1", 205-pound quarterback from Roswell, Georgia, who transferred to Cincinnati from Georgia Southern. After redshirting at Memphis in 2022-23, French joined Georgia Southern in January 2023 and appeared in 10 games that season. In 2024-25, his first full year as a starter, he completed 269 of 410 passes for 2,831 yards with 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while adding 239 rushing yards and two scores. French started all 13 games in 2025-26, throwing for 2,929 yards and 20 touchdowns against eight interceptions with 315 rushing yards and six touchdowns. He earned team captain honors and holds a marketing degree.
