Jake Wheelock is a left guard for the Cincinnati Bearcats standing 6'4" and weighing 312 pounds. The Dayton, Ohio native from Stebbins High School was a consensus three-star prospect rated by national outlets as the state's 19th-best recruit and the nation's 26th-best interior offensive line prospect. A two-time Division II First-Team All-State honoree, Wheelock signed with Cincinnati as an early enrollee and Scott Satterfield's first commitment to the 2024 class, choosing the Bearcats over offers from Duke and Virginia Tech. He retained his freshman eligibility in 2024 without appearing in game action. In 2025, Wheelock appeared in the Northwestern State game.
