CJ Crite is a 6'1", 207-pound free safety for Cincinnati. A consensus three-star recruit from Lincoln County, Georgia, he was ranked as the nation's No. 20 inside linebacker prospect by national outlets. Crite compiled 447 tackles, one sack, three interceptions, and five forced fumbles across his prep career. In 2025, he appeared in three games while preserving his redshirt, recording five total tackles with four solo stops. He registered two tackles in the regular-season finale versus TCU and one more in the Liberty Bowl.
