Jaylen Hampton is a 6'2" wide receiver from Atlanta who prepped at New Hampstead High School, where he earned three-star status and recorded 73 catches for 1,158 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior. He redshirted during his true freshman season at Western Kentucky in 2024 before transferring to Charlotte. In 2025, Hampton appeared in seven games for the 49ers, recording three receptions for 27 yards, including an 11-yard catch at South Florida for his first collegiate reception.
