Henry Rutledge is a 5'8", 185-pound running back from Charlotte, NC, who attended Charlotte Christian High School. At Charlotte, the redshirt senior has primarily served as a return specialist. In 2023, his redshirt sophomore season, he led the American Athletic Conference with an 11.9-yard average on punt returns and recorded 803 all-purpose yards. During the 2024 season, Rutledge appeared in all 12 games and led the American with 605 kick return yards on 24 returns, averaging 25.2 yards and posting a 79-yard return at Navy. In 2025, an injury sustained in training camp limited him to one game, in which he had two carries for 11 yards against North Carolina.
