Gavin Willis is a linebacker from Louisville, Kentucky who attended Ballard High School before playing two seasons at Bucknell University. At Bucknell, he earned All-Patriot League Second Team honors as a sophomore in 2024, when he started all 12 games and led the team with 129 tackles. Willis transferred to Charlotte for the 2025 season, appearing in all 12 games with two starts. He recorded 55 total tackles, 29 solo, along with 3.5 tackles for loss, 2 pass breakups, and 1 quarterback hurry. He was named an Academic All-District selection by the College Sports Communicators in 2025.
