Collin Gill is a 6'0", 210-pound nickelback from Fort Washington, Maryland who transferred to Charlotte from Georgia. A consensus three-star recruit from St. John's High School, Gill was a top-10 prospect in Washington D.C. and earned first-team All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference honors at defensive back as a senior. After redshirting in 2023 at Oregon and appearing in one game at Georgia in 2024, Gill joined the 49ers for the 2025 season. In his first year at Charlotte, he appeared in all 12 games, recording 35 total tackles, one tackle for loss, one pass breakup, one quarterback hurry, and one fumble recovery.
