Caleb Irving is a defensive tackle for Charlotte standing 6'1" and weighing 290 pounds. The Glenn Heights, Texas native attended Parish Episcopal High School, where he was a three-star recruit ranked No. 51 at his position by Rivals and No. 120 in Texas according to recruiting services. Irving began his college career at Purdue in 2024, appearing in two games and recording a tackle against Indiana State on August 31. He transferred to Charlotte and appeared in all but two games during the 2025 season, making four starts. Irving totaled 14 tackles and forced a fumble, including a career-high six tackles and forced fumble at South Florida.
