Rusty VanWetzinga IV is a 6'1", 235-pound fullback for Central Michigan who transferred to the program prior to the 2025 season after two years at Iowa. A 2023 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School in his hometown, VanWetzinga saw first career action in the 2023 Citrus Bowl as a true freshman before earning a redshirt. He appeared in four games during his 2024 redshirt freshman campaign. In 2025, he saw action in all 13 games, starting five at fullback, and registered one kickoff return for -1 yards. VanWetzinga maintains two years of eligibility remaining at Central Michigan.
