Jacob Russell is a 6'4", 295-pound left tackle for Central Michigan. The Glen Ridge, New Jersey native graduated from Glen Ridge High School in 2023, where he earned Group 1 All-State Third Team honors and served as team captain. Russell began his college career at Valparaiso in 2023 as a true freshman, redshirting that season. He started all 11 games at left tackle as a redshirt freshman in 2024. After two seasons at Valparaiso, Russell transferred to Central Michigan in January 2025. In 2025, his redshirt sophomore year, he started all 13 games at left tackle and earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors. The offensive line he anchors allowed 24 sacks for 153 yards in 2025.
