Hunter Zirkle is a 6'3", 245-pound defensive lineman for Central Michigan, where he enrolled in January 2026 after transferring from the University of Cumberlands. A native of Arcadia, Florida, and graduate of Booker H.S., Zirkle spent two seasons at Cumberlands, recording 73 tackles (36 solo), 23.5 tackles for loss, and 13.5 sacks across 17 games. In 2025, he earned NAIA/AFCA First Team All-American honors while posting 50 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks in 10 games. He led the Mid-South Conference in sacks, tackles for loss, and blocked kicks while forcing five fumbles.
