Brock Townsend is a running back for Central Michigan who stands 6'0" and weighs 215 pounds. A native of Caledonia, Michigan, Townsend was a three-star recruit in the 2024 class and committed to the Chippewas in June 2023. He redshirted as a true freshman in 2024 after seeing action in four games. In 2025, his second year, Townsend appeared in all 13 games with two starts and rushed 82 times for 418 yards and four touchdowns while catching 13 passes for 145 yards and four scores. He ranked fifth in the MAC in scoring touchdowns with eight total and earned Academic All-MAC honors.
