Towns McGough is a placekicker from Auburn, AL who attended Auburn High School. Rated as a three-star recruit in the 2024 prep class, McGough made 19 of 22 field goals as a senior and holds the Alabama state record with six field goals of 50+ yards. At Auburn as a freshman in 2024, he was named A-Day special teams MVP after making seven field goals, including a 58-yard game winner, and converting 27 of 27 PATs while averaging 63.5 yards on 61 kickoffs with 44 touchbacks. McGough redshirted in 2025 after appearing in the first two games as kickoff and long field goal specialist, attempting one field goal against Ball State.
