BJ Jones is an inside linebacker for the California Golden Bears listed at 6'2" and 230 pounds. A native of Oakland, California, Jones attended Bishop O'Dowd High School, where he spent three years on the varsity squad playing safety and running back before enrolling in 2023. He redshirted his first two seasons without appearing in games. In 2025 as a redshirt sophomore, Jones made an appearance in eight games.
