BJ Canady is a redshirt sophomore defensive lineman for California, standing 6'5" and weighing 280 pounds. The Topeka, Kansas native attended Topeka High School as a three-star recruit in the 2024 class. After redshirting his freshman year in 2024, Canady appeared in eight games during the 2025 season, recording nine tackles and one sack. He posted a career-high four tackles against Virginia Tech.
