Daniel Taumoepeau is a linebacker for the BYU Cougars listed at 6'0" and 225 pounds. A 2021 Westlake High School graduate from the Daly City area, Taumoepeau recorded 114 tackles as a senior, including 10 sacks and 25 tackles for loss, earning first-team All-Valley honors and All-State recognition. He spent two seasons at Eastern Washington (2021-22), appearing in 10 games with 13 tackles before serving an LDS mission in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now a returning redshirt junior, Taumoepeau wears No. 34 for the Cougars.
