Jacari Bennett is a 6'3", 240-pound right defensive end from Simpsonville, SC, who attended JL Mann High School. At the prep level, he recorded 90 tackles, 18 sacks, and 11 tackles for loss as a senior, earning Region 1-AAAAA Defensive Player of the Year honors. Bennett redshirted during his 2024 freshman season at Buffalo after appearing in five games, registering two tackles and one tackle for loss. Limited to three games in 2025 due to injury, he posted two total tackles, including stops against Saint Francis and Troy. The redshirt sophomore is pursuing a major in theater.
