Mike Wright III is a 5'10", 180-pound junior defensive back from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He attended Palm Beach Gardens High School, where he played both defensive back and wide receiver under head coach Tyrone Higgins. As a senior in 2023, Wright earned Sun Sentinel Co-Defensive Player of the Year honors after recording 38 tackles, two interceptions, five pass deflections, and one fumble recovery on defense, while adding 18 receptions for 302 yards and two touchdowns receiving. He spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons at Florida Atlantic, appearing in 20 career games with 14 tackles, one interception, and one pass breakup. Wright notched four tackles and an interception in 11 games during 2024, including a start against Tulsa.
