Gabe Funk is a 6'6", 305-pound offensive lineman from Xenia, Ohio, where he started 22 games over two seasons at Xenia High School under head coach Maurice Harden. He earned two-time second-team all-state honors in Ohio, two-time first-team all-district recognition, and two-time first-team All-MVL selection, along with an Integrity Award. Funk transferred to Bowling Green in January 2026 after one career appearance at App State, which came in the 2025 Birmingham Bowl against Georgia Southern. He is a junior in his first year with the Falcons.
