Tahj Crutchfield is a defensive back for Boise State, standing 5'11" and weighing 180 pounds. A native of Eastvale, California, he attended Rancho Cucamonga High School, where he earned three-star recruit status across multiple outlets and ranked among the top 100 recruits in California. As a senior, Crutchfield made first team all-conference, recording 37 tackles including one for loss, one interception, and one forced fumble. He also competed in track, posting times of 10.79 in the 100 meters, 22.18 in the 200 meters, and 50.12 in the 400 meters as a junior. Crutchfield redshirted during the 2025 season and is returning to the program.
