Roman Caywood is a defensive end from Draper, UT who attended Corner Canyon HS. A three-star recruit rated as the fourth-best edge rusher from Utah in 2024, Caywood redshirted his freshman year in 2024. In 2025 as a redshirt sophomore, he appeared in 13 games and recorded 11 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks. Highlights included a solo tackle for loss against Colorado State on November 22, four tackles with two solo TFLs and a half-sack at Utah State on November 28, and a forced fumble with two tackles against Washington in the LA Bowl on December 13.
