Mikaio Edward is a defensive tackle from Kent, Washington, who attended Federal Way HS before playing at Central Washington. At 6'1" and 285 pounds, Edward earned Lone Star Conference Defensive Freshman of the Year honors in 2024 after appearing in all 12 games with 24 tackles, including 7 solo and 17 assisted, plus 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack. In 2025, his redshirt sophomore season, he recorded 41 tackles (26 solo, 15 assisted), 9.0 tackles for loss, and 7 sacks across all 12 games, earning All-Lone Star Conference Defensive First Team recognition.
