Jake Ripp is a redshirt senior linebacker for Boise State from Los Gatos, California. A three-star recruit in the 2022 class, Ripp made his collegiate debut in 2023 as a redshirt freshman, appearing in 13 games and recording three tackles against Washington in his first action. During his redshirt sophomore season in 2024, he appeared in all 14 games and led the Broncos with 234 special teams snaps while notching a solo sack at Georgia Southern. In 2025, Ripp started six of 14 games and totaled 43 tackles with three tackles for loss and one fumble recovery, including a season-high eight tackles at San Diego State. He is a three-time Academic All-Mountain West honoree and was named to the Athlon Sports Preseason All-Pac-12 Third Team for 2026.
