Palmer Williams is a punter for Baylor who hails from Advance, NC and attended Davie HS. A three-star prospect in the 2023 class, he earned the starting job as a freshman and punted 37 times for a 43.08-yard average. In 2024, his sophomore season, he posted a 49.35-yard average on 43 punts, leading the nation among qualifiers and setting a single-season school record. During his junior year in 2025, Williams punted 27 times for 1,267 yards at a 46.9-yard average, recording 11 punts inside the 20-yard line and 11 of 50 or more yards. He earned second-team All-America honors from The Athletic and first-team All-Big 12 recognition, while also capturing Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year and earning Ray Guy Award finalist status.
