Michael Johnson Jr., a 6'3" wide receiver from Batesville, Mississippi, prepped at South Panola High School as a three-star prospect. He began his college career at East Mississippi CC in 2024, appearing in eight games and recording 16 receptions for 200 yards and three touchdowns. Johnson transferred to Baylor for the 2025 season, when he redshirted but saw action in one game on special teams against Houston. He is a returning sophomore for the Bears in 2026.
