Jamaal Whyce Jr. is a 6'4", 311-pound defensive tackle from Miami, Florida, who attended Florida Christian High School. He enrolled early at South Carolina in 2022, redshirting that season, and appeared in seven games over the next two years for the Gamecocks. Whyce transferred to Marshall for the 2025 season, where he played in 11 games with nine starts at nose tackle. He recorded 34 tackles, six tackles for loss, three sacks, and one fumble recovery with the Herd. Now entering his sixth season of eligibility, he transfers to Baylor.
