Luke Dalton is a right tackle from Crystal Lake, Illinois, who transferred to Ball State from Cincinnati. At Marian Central Catholic High School, he was a consensus three-star prospect and one of the top 25 recruits in Illinois, earning twice All-State honors and recognition as a lineman of the year as a senior. After redshirting in 2022, Dalton did not see playing time during his redshirt freshman year. In 2024, he appeared in four games with a start against Bowling Green at right guard before sustaining a knee injury. During the 2025 season, he served as a top reserve at offensive guard without game action. Dalton is a third-year Cardinal and team leader known for his versatility along the offensive line.
