Lucas Szymborski is a 6'1", 221-pound weakside linebacker for Ball State. The Crown Point, Indiana native attended Cleveland High School in Tennessee for his first three years, earning varsity letters in football and winning two state wrestling championships. He transferred to Crown Point High School for his senior season, helping the Bulldogs reach the Class 6A state championship and earning 6A all-state honors in 2024. Szymborski joined the Cardinals as a redshirt freshman in 2026.
