Kendrick Gilbert is a nose tackle from Indianapolis Cathedral High School who committed to Kentucky out of high school. A four-star recruit, he recorded 86 tackles and 8.0 sacks during his prep career while helping Cathedral to back-to-back 5A state titles in 2020 and 2021. Gilbert played in two games with two tackles while redshirted with Kentucky in 2023, then appeared in eight games at the position in 2024, accumulating five tackles and a tackle for loss. He transferred to Ball State for the 2026 season.
