CJ Zeltwanger is a redshirt freshman offensive lineman for Ball State, standing 6'4" and weighing 295 pounds. The West Lafayette, Indiana native was a three-year letterman at Harrison High School, earning all-state honors as both a junior and senior and selection to the Indiana Football Coaches Association Top 50 All-State Team. As a senior captain, he led Harrison to a 9-2 record with a 7-0 conference championship and was a two-time all-conference selection. Zeltwanger signed with the Cardinals in December 2023 but redshirted as a grayshirt in 2024 before enrolling in January 2025. He chose Ball State over scholarship offers from Miami (OH) and Army.
