Chris Hood, a 6'10" offensive lineman from Kendallville, Indiana, is a returning redshirt senior at Ball State. He attended East Noble High School, where he lettered four years and was named the team's lineman of the year during his junior and senior seasons. Hood started all 12 games at left tackle in 2025 and made nine appearances with eight starts in 2024. He holds 20 career starts, the most on the Cardinals' roster entering 2026. A two-time Academic All-MAC honoree and two-time academic all-district selection, Hood has earned preseason All-MAC recognition in both 2025 and 2026. From East Noble HS · Kendallville, IN.
