Carson Holmer is a placekicker for Ball State who hails from Avon, Indiana. After redshirting in 2022 and seeing no action in 2023, Holmer appeared in limited duty during 2024, connecting on field goals from 31 and 40 yards at Central Michigan while filling in during an injury. In 2025, he served as the Cardinals' starting kicker through the first seven games, completing 3 of 7 field goal attempts with a long of 23 yards while converting all 14 extra point tries. Holmer returns as the incumbent starter for his final college season and participates actively in community service alongside teammates Caden Britton and Cole Stumbaugh.
