Xavier Atkins is a weak-side linebacker for Auburn who transferred from LSU before the 2025 season. A native of Houston, Texas, and a four-star recruit in the 2024 class, Atkins appeared in seven games as a freshman at LSU. In his first year with the Tigers, he played and started in all 12 games, recording 84 total tackles, 17.0 tackles for loss, and 9.0 sacks. He added an interception, a pass breakup, and a fumble recovery, earning First Team All-SEC honors and recognition as a Second Team All-American.
