Tristian Smith is a left guard from Crossett, Arkansas, who began his college career at Trinity Valley Community College before joining Arkansas State. Smith redshirted in 2022, then appeared in 11 games primarily on special teams in 2023 with 20 snaps at right guard. In 2024, he played all 13 games and started at right guard in the Ventures Bowl victory over Bowling Green, logging 176 snaps and earning a 73.7 Pro Football Focus grade. During the 2025 season, Smith started the first nine games at left guard before sustaining a season-ending injury. Prior to the injury, he recorded 679 total snaps and earned Pro Football Focus grades of 90.5 in pass blocking and 77.1 in run blocking while allowing only one sack.
