A three-star recruit, Yarbrough rushed 358 times for 2,767 yards and 32 touchdowns during his prep career and recorded 11 100-yard performances. He committed to Arizona on June 17, 2024, choosing the program among 12 total offers. In his 2025 freshman season, Yarbrough appeared in 10 games, recording 21 rushing attempts for 77 yards (3.7 yards per carry) and one reception for 1 yard. He made his collegiate debut on September 6 against Weber State with 37 yards on seven carries.
