Tyrese Boss is a cornerback from Rialto, California, who attended Chino Hills High School before committing to Wyoming. As a high school senior in 2023, he recorded 37 solo tackles among 76 total, along with four interceptions and five pass breakups, earning First Team All-Baseline League honors. Boss made his collegiate debut on special teams in 2024 as a true freshman. In 2025, his redshirt freshman season, he appeared in 12 games and accumulated 699 snaps, posting 30 solo tackles and 39 total tackles with five pass breakups.
