Swayde Griffin is a cornerback for the Arizona Wildcats listed at 6'2" and 197 pounds. A redshirt freshman from Lago Vista, Texas, Griffin was a three-star recruit who committed to Arizona on June 23, 2024. In high school, he lined up at defensive back, wide receiver, and safety, accumulating 482 rushing yards on 84 carries with 10 touchdowns, plus 19 receptions for 342 yards and three touchdowns. He recorded 824 all-purpose yards across three varsity seasons and eight total tackles on defense. Griffin helped lead Lago Vista High School to a 9-4 record and a berth in the 2024 UIL Texas Football State Championship.
