Gavin Hunter is a redshirt junior safety for the Arizona Wildcats, standing 6'2" and weighing 207 pounds. Originally from Ewa Beach, Hawai'i, Hunter attended Mililani High School, where he was a three-star recruit who received interest from multiple programs. He appeared in one game during the 2023 season on special teams before redshirting. In 2024, Hunter played in 11 games and recorded three assisted tackles. During the 2025 season, he registered 19 total tackles, 12 solo tackles, three tackles for loss, one interception for 28 yards, and three pass deflections.
