Daylen Austin is a 6'0", 194-pound safety from Long Beach, California, who attended Long Beach Poly High School. A consensus four-star recruit ranked 138th by recruiting services and 142nd by national outlets, Austin joined Oregon as a true freshman in 2023. He appeared in three games that season, recording a pass breakup in his debut against Portland State on September 2 and notching three tackles versus Hawai'i on September 16 before redshirting. Austin played in all 14 games for the Ducks in 2024, logging 252 total snaps and finishing with 10 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. In 2025, his redshirt sophomore year, he earned time in 13 games with 316 snaps, posting 10 tackles, one tackle for loss, one interception on October 25 versus Wisconsin, and three pass breakups. He is now in his redshirt junior year at Arizona.
