Roman Pitre is a 6'5", 255-pound left defensive end from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who transferred to Arizona State from Purdue. A consensus 3-star recruit in the 2022 class, he was ranked No. 29 in Louisiana by national outlets and No. 25 by recruiting services. At University Laboratory High School, Pitre earned all-district honors as an outside linebacker during his junior season and helped his team capture district titles, including a state championship in 2018. He did not appear in games during two seasons with the Boilermakers before joining the Sun Devils. In 2024, Pitre appeared in nine games primarily on special teams, recording four total tackles and one pass defensed.
